In order for us to witness a miracle that Jesus wants to perform in our lives we have to be set up for the miracle. In the gospel of John, we see the many miracles that Jesus performs, but they all had one thing in common: they were out of something.
Out of resources (John 2:1-12)
Out of time (John 4:43-54)
Out of strength (John 5:1-9)
Out of options (John 6:1-13)
Out all alone (John 6:16-21)
Out of sight, out of mind (John 9:1-12)
Out of hope (John 11:17-27, 11:38-44)
Maybe you are out of something today. Be encouraged by today’s message! You’re in the makings of a miracle!
